Approaching My Work

Steps to Success with Clients

I take every project from discovery through architecture, build, and deploy, with working software in your hands early rather than only at the end. I stay accountable from the first call to the final release.

From First Call to Launch

  • 1

    Envision

I start by understanding what you actually need and the business around it, not just the surface request. Where it helps, I dig into how your operation really works so the plan fits reality. From there I put together a clear plan: a timeline, an estimated budget, and a concrete list of deliverables. The goal is something we both trust before any code gets written.

    Creation

This is the build, and it is the most collaborative part of the work. Your goals and ideas turn into a working product, and I keep you in the loop as it takes shape. I care about both sides of it: the interface should match your brand and be genuinely easy to use, and the code underneath should be something that can be maintained and extended later, not just shipped once. Your feedback drives the revisions here. The aim is a site that does its job well, not one that only looks good in a screenshot.

    Launch

The final phase brings everything together for launch. I test thoroughly so features work correctly across devices and browsers before anything goes live. I handle the full deployment: hosting setup, SSL, and performance tuning, so the site is fast and secure from day one. After launch I stay on to keep it healthy, with monitoring and quick fixes if anything comes up.

Business Values - Learning, Innovating, Succeeding

I care about the craft, and I keep sharpening how I work so the businesses I build for get something current, not something that felt dated the day it shipped.

  • Loyal. My work does not end at delivery. I aim for long-term partnerships, not one-off transactions.
  • Innovative. I keep a close eye on where the tools are heading and bring the ones that genuinely help into the work, rather than chasing every trend.
  • Honest. I keep you informed at every step, including when something turns out harder or slower than expected. No surprises at the end.
  • Adaptable. I start from your actual requirements, not a template, and shape the solution to fit the problem in front of me.
  • Efficient. I respect your time and budget, and I hit deadlines without cutting corners on quality.
  • Resilient. I build for the failure states, not just the happy path, so what I ship holds up when a dependency wobbles or the requirements shift.

Curious what I actually build?

The steps above are how I approach a project. If you would rather see finished builds than read about the method, my case studies go into them directly.
